Delivery information

We work with a number of couriers to offer a variety of delivery services including our standard next business day service as well as premium, timed deliveries. We are also able to ship to international locations on request. Contact our team for more details or a quotation. Here are the key points relating to our standard delivery services.

  • Standard UK delivery is free of charge to most mainland UK postcodes. Delivery charges are applied to outlying areas and for orders containing heavy items. You can get a delivery charge estimate from our shopping basket page. Simply add the product(s) you need to your basket and enter your postcode on the basket page.
  • We can provide same day delivery in many cases - contact us for a same day quote. We will confirm whether this is possible with a shipping information email once your order has been accepted. If a same-day service is not possible (e.g. due to time or geographical constraints) we will contact you to discuss once you have placed your order.
  • Our stated delivery timeframes are not guaranteed. In the vast majority of cases, our couriers deliver on time but delays can sometime occur, e.g. during peak periods or adverse weather/traffic conditions

The IT Bay delivery charges are based on the total weight of the goods being ordered, and your delivery address. For that reason, we show estimated delivery charges on both our product pages and in your shopping basket. The actual delivery charge you’ll pay can only be calculated and shown once you’ve entered your delivery address during checkout.

Next business day delivery is only available if all the following apply to your order:

  • The order is placed on a working day before 5pm.
  • All our standard security checks have been successfully completed.
  • We are in receipt of cleared funds for the total value of the order.
  • Delivery is to a non-outlying mainland UK address. Please note that delivery to outlying or remote areas may take longer than 1 business day.
  • All items ordered are in stock items, shipping directly from The IT Bay warehouse.
  • None of the products ordered require configuration or assembly. 

Delivery services

All of our products are despatched with a plain label by default. There is no identifying branding or paperwork included, which means you can save time and money by direct shipping your orders straight to your customers.

The IT Bay can provide a range of additional delivery services, such as timed deliveries or Saturday deliveries. If you need your order urgently, or would like to choose a non-standard delivery option, you can request a premium delivery service via our customer services team. Get in touch for a fast quotation.

If you’d like your order delivered overseas, we’re able to ship to most countries. Please contact us for a quote.

Tracking your delivery

Together with our suppliers, we work with a number of leading courier companies to provide a range of delivery services. Our primary couriers are UPS and DPD although we are constantly evaluating our supplier relationships in a bid to provide the most competitive and efficient service possible.

We will automatically email you a shipping confirmation email as soon as we despatch your order. You can also login to your account to view the status of all your orders. Once you have logged in, click on My Orders in the left-hand menu to view your order list. The order status is shown for each order in the list, allowing you to check which orders have been shipped at a glance.

Once your goods are out for delivery, you can expect delivery between 9am and 6pm. A signature will be required on receipt of the goods. If you are unable to take a delivery, a card will be left and delivery will be reattempted the following business day. Please note, you may incur charges if we repeatedly try and fail to deliver your orders.
