To get started, send us your details via the short form below. Our team will be in touch with a valuation and discuss next steps with you. The Buy Back service is explained in more detail below.

How does the Buy Back service work?

The process is quick and easy. Submit our Buy Back form and our team will respond with a valuation by email. If you're happy with this valuation, the email will also contain instructions on arranging for your device to be sent to us free of charge for inspection by our technicians. We will assess the device when it arrives and then send you another email with our final valuation. This email gives you two options; accept the valuation and get paid or request the return of your device. If you've described your device fairly and accurately on the original form and we don't find any issues, the initial and second valuations should be the same.

What type of devices do you accept?

Our Buy Back service is offered for all UK specification laptops, PCs and tablets that are fully operational and no more than 7 years old.

How much does it cost?

Our Buy Back service is completely free. We will arrange for your device to be collected and sent to us. If we need to revise our valuation once we've received and tested your device and you choose not to accept our revised valuation we will return it to you at our expense.

Is the price in your initial valuation email guaranteed?

Our initial valuation email provides a quote based on the information you give us via the form on our website. Once we receive your device, our technicians will inspect and test the goods. If you've described your device fairly and accurately on the original form the initial and second valuations should be the same. If however, we spot any discrepancies or issues, we may need to revise our valuation. Once we've finished the inspection, we will send you another email with our final valuation. This email gives you two options; accept the valuation and get paid or request the return of your device.

Can I change my mind?

Yes, up until you've accepted our final valuation you can change your mind at any point. Simply contact us to let us know and we'll send your device back to you free of charge within 5 business days.

How do I get paid?

We can arrange payment in a number of ways. We can transfer payment directly to your bank account. Alternatively, we can issue your payment via PayPal. We can also issue a voucher which you can use towards the purchase of any products on our website. Please note that PayPal payments can take a couple of days to process whereas bank transfers can take up to 5 business days to clear.

How many devices can I sell via the Buy Back service?

There is no limit but we will need details submitting for every device you want to send us. If you have a large number of devices it may be more practical to contact our team directly for assistance. Please email [email protected].

How can I check the current status/progress?

We'll keep you updated via a series of emails throughout the process. Once you've submitted the Buy Back form we'll send you an initial email with our valuation and the details you need to send your device to us. We'll get in touch again once with our final valuation we've received and tested your device. We will send a final email once you've decided whether you wish to accept our valuation or have your device sent back to you. You can contact our team at any time for an update of course by emailing [email protected].

Does my device have to be in good condition?

As long as your device is fully operational, we can accept devices that are not necessarily in pristine condition and are showing signs of wear and tear or some cosmetic damages such as scratches or scuff marks. When you submit our Buy Back form, we will ask you to specify the condition of the device and upload a photo if possible. Please note we cannot offer cash valuations for faulty devices.

Can I sell faulty or broken equipment?

We cannot accept or provide valuations for faulty or broken devices at this time.

What happens to my data stored on the device?

We recommend you transfer and erase any data you have stored on your device before sending it to us but if you forget or can't do this, our technicians will professionally erase all the data and destroy any sensitive information stored on the device. We will reformat any drives and ensure information is securely and permanently erased and cannot be restored or recovered.

Can I send you my business IT equipment?

Our Buy Back service is offered to both consumers and businesses. If you have a number of devices you wish to send back, please contact our sales team directly for assistance. Please email [email protected]. Please note that for business customers we also offer an IT recycling and disposal service - see our WEEE page for more details.
